November 8-11 as part of ScienceWriters2024
The annual New Horizons in Science briefings are designed to give science writers a leg up on their future. Each year top-rank researchers are invited to report on advances in a wide array of disciplines and join science writers in discussing issues at the interface of science and society.

The Patrusky Lectures were launched in 2013 to honor Ben Patrusky, executive director of CASW for 25 years and director of the New Horizons in Science program for 30 years.
