CASW’s primary educational program, New Horizons in Science, is designed to give science writers a leg up on their future. Each year top-ranked researchers are invited to report on seminal advances in a wide array of scientific disciplines.

The 64th annual New Horizons in Science briefings will be presented as part of ScienceWriters2026 at Oregon State University, September 25-28, 2026.
