CASW opens entry window for 2023 awards

Update: Submissions for the 2023 Sharon Begley Award are no longer being accepted. And the Victor Cohn Prize deadline has been extended to July 16.

The Council for the Advancement of Science Writing is pleased to accept submissions for three major awards to be bestowed in 2023—including a  $20,000 career prize, the Sharon Begley Science Reporting Award.

Deadlines for this year’s competitions are:

• Sharon Begley Science Reporting Award: April 30
• Victor Cohn Prize for Excellence in Medical Science Reporting: June 30
• Evert Clark/Seth Payne Award for a young science journalist: June 30

All entries will be accepted online at CASW’s Submittable submission site, https://casw.submittable.com.
