Laura Dattaro

Laura Dattaro is a freelance science journalist who writes about the brain, genetics, and physics, among other topics. She became CASW’s Administrator and Communications Manager in January 2024.

Sylvia Kantor

Sylvia Kantor joined CASW as administrator and communications manager in 2018. Today she is an editor and designer for the Puget Sound Institute at the University of Washington–Tacoma and a freelance science writer. She manages headquarters matters for CASW in Seattle.

Rosalind Reid

Ros Reid succeeded Ben Patrusky as CASW executive director in September 2013 and retired from the post in September 2024. She is the former editor of American Scientist magazine.
